The Bondi Pool is an icon of the Sydney coastline, due to the way that it juts out into the ocean. It is a saltwater fed pool designed to allow ocean waves over the side so that swimmers can experience a natural current in a protected environment. In this image, a swimmer is making laps in the pool as a large ocean wave breaks over the side of the structure.
