Glass sculpture created by Bill Slade. Through a handblown technique involving multiple layers of color and silver veiling, twisted and manipulated, the artist creates a multidimensional prism effect and intricate lacing of silver threads within the piece.
Each piece by Jon and Bill Slade are created individually and so each sculpture has its own unique design and color scheme. It is part of their "Open Form" series mimicking the coral and other flowing organic life often found in the Atlantic just offshore Jacksonville, Florida.
