All Wrapped Up

10" x 10" paper print by Florida based artist Ruth Hayden. Part of her How it Feels series, Hayden's work is an introspective look into the effects of the pandemic. 

The orange sphere represents the soul and the lines are communication, information, and chaos. During the quarantine there were so many unknowns. Turmoil outside in the world and inside. The lines are all representing the information and chaos that can exist in life, there is all that outside of us, but will we let is get inside? There is a small space between the outside lines and the sphere, there is a choice not to let the pressure and chaos entangle you.
