Collection: xyca

xyca (formerly exhibited as Natasha Fenga) creates luminous, image-based works that transform photography into something altogether otherworldly. A graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with honors and a 2024 Atlantic Center for the Arts resident under the mentorship of celebrated photographer Renée Cox, her work has been collected by the CollegeBoard and exhibited nationally — from the New York City Photoville Festival to the Southeast Museum of Photography and in 2020 she was named a "Gen-Z Up and Coming Artist" by ArtPremium Magazine.

Her practice has evolved over time: earlier works, some of which remain available through Gallery500, applied painterly digital treatments to her cinematic photography to produce dreamy, atmospheric images that first distinguished her voice in the gallery space. Her current body of work expands on that foundation, merging her photographic archive with NASA imagery, art historical references, and the broader visual culture of the digital age to create richly layered tableaus that draw unexpected connections between personal memory and collective experience.

This vision extends beyond the wall through her Artwear line, a collection of limited wearable and object-based editions that bring the world of xyca into everyday life.

Based in Daytona Beach, Florida, xyca approaches fine art with a commitment to accessibility and wonder to create work that rewards both the seasoned collector and the first-time visitor. Many Gallery500 guests know her as Natasha. Whether you've met her on the floor or are discovering her work here for the first time, all pieces are available for purchase and shipping internationally.
