
Renee Lewis
With a Post- Impressionist style, Winter Park artist Renee Lewis incorporates various materials, such as pastels, oil crayons and color pencils, into her drawings. Stemming from her textile design background, Lewis's work focuses on color and pattern, with subjects of empowered, strong women, resonating with viewers.
A native of Brooklyn, NY, Renee Lewis always loved the combination of texture and color. During her academic studies in the School of Art at Syracuse University, Lewis developed an eye and proficiency with repetitive patterns. After receiving a B.F.A. in Fabric Design, Lewis continued to create as an artist and educator. She is a member of several Florida Artist Organizations such as Beaux Arts Central Florida, the Florida Artists Group, and Florida Women’s Art Association.
