Ray Brilli

Ray Brilli was born in Queens, New York. He attended the High School of Art & Design, Hunter College & the School Of Visual Art where he studied fine art, color theory and graphic design. Brilli then worked for many years as a graphic artist for various ad agencies in N.Y. It was the structured, tight regimen of commercial art during the day which led Brilli to develop a bright, spontaneous an impressionistic style to his painting. He has returned many times to his parent’s birthplace, Venice, Italy for inspiration in his art. His artwork is displayed worldwide in Norway, Italy, Japan, and India to name a few and has won numerous awards in Florida and New York.
