Brian Kinder

Brian Thomas Kinder grew up in Philadelphia in the 1970's and 1980's. Graduating from the Art Institute of Philadelphia as a Graphic Artist in 1998, Brian continued moving forward with his life as an artist. He must create!. He used to work in more representational ways, but slowly began feeling more drawn to abstraction. Each painting is like an archeological dig, pulling from everything new, old, and unexplored. 

Each painting takes his work someplace new, terrain that has not yet been explored, and it is this Unal reward of "seeing something new", is the very thing that makes it all worth it. To live the rarest, and most productive life, that is imaginative with discipline is the greatest blessing. How great to contribute to the world...pieces of your soul lay on that canvas, becoming a part of it. It is the very moment when no part of the painting is calling for attention, when all is in perfect balance and harmony...that is the very moment when the brush rests.
