Sketch of Dale Earnhardt Sr. at Daytona International Speedway

Sketch of Dale Earnhardt Sr. at Daytona International Speedway

11" x 14" Sketch of the Dale Earnhardt Sr. statue at the Daytona International Speedway. Earnhardt Sr. was killed in a crash during the final lap of the Daytona 500 in 2001. The Daytona International Speedway hosts this memorial to the famed NASCAR racer, originally unveiled in 2002. In the statue, Earnhardt Sr. stands on his number 3, holding the winners trophy he received for his victory at the 1998 Daytona 500.

Michael Duran has further memorialized this historic moment, sketching the statue as we see it today. The artist finds his creativity wherever he is. His work can be found throughout the country, including the University of Alabama, Graceland, and several galleries in Los Angeles and Maui. He has also created designs for musical groups and iconic venues as well as artwork for national advertising.

Sketch is matted and displayed in a protective sleeve, ready for framing. What a great memory of the Daytona 500 and the Daytona International Speedway!
