Featured at Gallery500 through the month of March as part of our Florida Women's Art Association showcase, Christine Broussard uses impressionistic techniques with both oil paints and wax to depict the swampy areas of the locally famous "The Loop;" a large curvy road mostly surrounded by untouched wetlands and forests. This road is popular amongst bikers and those interested in connecting more to nature. It runs from Ormond Beach into Palm Coast and recently local legislators have been controversially attempting to open The Loop to contractors to develop.
