Color is the driving force behind her paintings. Her love of popular vibrant and rich colors are incorporated into more vintage color schemes featuring the earthy tones reminiscent of the1960’s and 1970’s. Her works are a labor of love that utilize extensive layering of materials such as diamond dust, charcoal, oil pastels, natural gemstones, paper, and glass glitter with various types of paint. She makes her own stencils, grinds up her own gemstones, and incorporate her life-long love for yoga into her art with Sanskrit words, symbols, and spiritual affirmations.
Cheyenne has painted for the majority of her life, but went on to earn an M.B.A. and a pursued a career outside of the arts before returning to her passion. She began selling her artwork on a national and international scale in 2009. Since then, her work has shown at art galleries and art fairs throughout the region and has developed a very large following. Cheyenne’s art captures the balancing of mind with spirit and her aim to make vibrant paintings that raise the energy level and bring peace and tranquility to those who view them.
